Contrived Rebellion
How sad societies are. How easy to be blown this way or that, and still believe we choose how the winds blow. (As usual, click the image or link to read this short but ponderous perspective.)
Yet again, the sad commentary of society, of the lostness of men inspires words of sanity. So, this, my short writing comes from the lunacy of one telling the world not to buy anything, from their rebellion of political circuses. Below is my response, then, as you scroll to the very end, is the “inspirational meme”.
My Response
“What is sad here, is that it takes your buying into contrived division to separate yourselves from the bread & circuses you call life. If, however, it takes you dividing yourself from anything, to separate yourself from the lies of the world, then Congratulations!
In this pause of yours, consider that the problem is not merely in this political ideology, this party or that, today's deceiver or yesterday's, but that the whole system is contriving your perspectives, you. Sorry, but this dance is a lie that you give yourselves to; be it left, right or just to be rebellious.
Decide during this break from your addiction of consumerism, that you never return to that drug. Believe it or not, you're more precious, more vast and wondrous than you have ever been led to believe.
Or, just go shopping tomorrow.”
