Many see death as a relatively quick physical event, but then there is the death of us, the energetic cognizant force behind our fleshy exterior. When I speak of life or death, it is not the physical aspect I speak of, but the miraculous infinite essence of the divine; Us. Over time of self-belittlement, our shallow living without substance, our justifications, our lies, our stealing, our contributing to everything not divine, we slowly wither and die. Yes, we may physically live to a "ripe-old-age", but the life I speak of is immeasurably infinite and wondrous. Even then, in our eternities, death calls upon those who believe and live no further than selfish base instincts.
We carry each and every act, be they life-giving or life-taking. For a moment, consider eternally carrying all your un-Godly acts, those acts you knew or know were wrong, but justified to "feel" righteous. As we age, those despicable actions are forever weighing us down, dimming our beautiful smiles, stealing our child-like energy, and eventually, killing our physical vessels. While this is truly sad, physical death pales in comparison to the slow thralls of a dying facet of the All.
You are more than you know, more than the worldly wants you to know. Be the essence and image of God, for it is who and what you are.
Again, you are at a crossroads. Come to know both good and evil, for if you don't, you will never recognize either, and your life will be dictated to you. Each of us must be able to discern, or forever will we be lost to the deceit of darkness.
Speak with God and be quiet. Allow yourself to experience God in whatever manner the reply comes. In discernment you will come to know that light allows choice, while darkness forces its Will upon you. Listen for the whisper instead of the screams.

Now, Several Years Ago - See your memories
A life in the darkness, immersed in deceit and lies, is complicated and steals the soul's of man. A life in the simplicity of God, is not somewhere over the rainbow, but in each and every soul who allows themselves to live that life. We each have a choice, to live in death, or, to live in life. How we live or how we die everyday, is in our hands. As for the children, they are in God's hands, our hands, those who are and share life. We are and must be their answer, but first, we must live and Be the answer. Here is to all who are willing to see evil, for in that willingness, we are afforded discernment, and the opportunity to be the light. ~ Mark Bell
