Great step in the right direction, but belief, science, and the such are only first steps. From these things, these rungs, comes an understanding, and then our return to knowing.
pan·the·ism
1. a doctrine that identifies God with the universe, or regards the universe as a manifestation of God.
2. rare - worship that admits or tolerates all gods.
“Pantheism is the belief that all reality is identical with divinity, or that everything composes an all-encompassing, immanent god.”
The trivial learnings and teachings of man, they are the belief in arrogant dallyings of those yet to come to their knowing. I too dallied, and I too achieved near perfect scores in science, but it is the busyings of us that keep us from becoming who and what we are. Yes, the world touts this small education, this memorization, those who can spout their learnings at command, but it is our quiet humble knowingness at each and every turn, and not before, that brings us back to the innocence once lost in a garden so long and so far ago.
If faith is to be our first step, let it be in our trust that in the moment of our need, we will know whether to step right or left, forward or backward, whether to continue or sit down, whether to go around, or over, or through and that all provisions have been provided.
We have lost ourselves to the devil in the details, and have given ourselves to the belief that leaders and teachers of the physical are greater than are we. We give credit to others, when it is you, who already know what there is to know. We use technology, we are led by those who enamor us with their trinkets, when all we need do, is live in our moments. Yes, each moment we fully live in, brings us everything we need - the courage, the faith, the strength, and the simple unglorified knowing of a being from and of all things. We are not of these fleshly vessels, but of all there is, of God and in our simplistic being, we need only to be.
There is no supernatural authoritarianism, no divine retribution, just the law of realms. There is no governing branch of invisible beings out there, just of man, here. This heaven that is sought, this Kingdom of ours, it is within and all around us, not up there, just as there is no hell below us. These are our creations that we first believe are elsewhere, and then manifest in all we do here, just as we believe we must be governed by a king or a president, a leader that we believe knows more than us, a ruler because we need to be ruled.
We are our “rulers”, but in a world brought about from a lie that we need more than a child’s innocent knowing, we have created our own hell. This is hell, this cyclic pleasure and pain, this homelessness, this murder of the unborn, this indiscriminate slaughter of sentient beings for the pleasuring of our taste buds, and our never ending warring against a perceived and learned evil - this is man’s creation and man’s creation alone.
The Devil is in the details we chase, that we have been told are over there, and in something beyond a simple knowing. It is time to trust in ourselves, not in our learned selves, but in the child that existed before earthly teachings, of who we are and are not, in our forsaken innocence. Only we have forsaken our child selves for lurings of the physical.
