Wow, so you’re a sports fan! You’re a Jeep person, a hunter, gay or you don’t know which! Oh, okay, you’re a democrat, no, A republican! You’re wealthy, a celebrity, of gentry, a redneck, have big boobs or a giant “johnson”. Wow!
Really, that’s your substance? That’s it?
Oh, well, enjoy the arrogance, the delusion of the grandeur of you.
Okay, so I beat you up a bit. You’re mad at me, or you’re sad. Good News!
You are the most beautiful thought God ever had, the most substantive imagining of all. Yes, that is your essence, your beginning, albeit, a long way from the smallness you now tout. It is not complicated going back to you, God’s most beautiful thought. However, it won’t be easy, for you will need to confront all of you. You will have to give up all that is not, nor ever has been you, all that you “think” or believe validates you, comforts and keeps you safe. Yep, you will have to stand naked in front of you and God, with nothing; no fig leaf, no ego, no pretense, nothing, not even excuses or justifications. Whew!
Not so tough now, are you. Neither was I. Neither were any or all who truly commune with divinity. Here’s the deal. God already knows everything about you - EVERYTHING. Now that you know God knows, the only thing left, is for you to face you, with nothing more or less than the wonder you really are.
You see, if God already knows you, and Christ has already paid your admission, then you are all that is left to complete the equation. Here’s the built-in problem - you cannot return to innocence when you haven’t given up everything that turned innocence into ugliness. You can’t step into God, nor will you even see, hear or know the beingness of God, for you chose blindness instead of confront. You, first, must see you, your deeds, the despicableness, the good, the bad, and the ugly, before you will ever see the well of God. The faith you claim now, before you have acknowledged your acts, your behavior, your choices, is your delusion. It is a lie you tell yourself to comfort yourself, but it is a lie just the same. Real faith begins with you, accepting who and what you have been, and giving it up, letting it go in your taking responsibility for you.
There is purpose and reason in you having to go through the fire of you, a beautiful, wondrous and eternal reason. But, to know that reason, you must take your step into you. I tell you true, the wonder you are is crying out for you to see, and be magnificent again. Be not blind or deny any longer.
Choose the eternal you. Choose the eternal infinincy of all that is God. Your destiny, you, await you. So, get off your high-horse and get to it. Courage Up!
