In our changing ourselves, our situations, and even our world, take tiny steps; make little changes. Over time, even the mightiest of stones is worn away by little droplets of water. Our lives, our pain, problems, and sorrows are in our hands, as are our joys. We are in charge of all aspects in our lives, from the smallest to the most overwhelming. These challenges either mold us, or we see them as the gifts they are, and we mold ourselves. I know this sounds overly simple, but like relentless drops of water, we can change our lives by merely changing our perspectives, moment to moment.
A very simple step that I was reminded of, was to change my self-dialogue, how I talk to me, and how I word my self-speak. When we say we are flawed, sick, that we are not as good or as far along as others, we paint our self-portrait. Yes, things happen in life that may not be in our control, and we may have been hurt, but those happenings have more than one side, more than one perspective. While we see them as injustice, pain and sorrow, there is also justice and joy. It is from our chosen points of view that we see these things as good or bad, which is something we can change by merely changing our viewing point. I have spoken many times about looking for the gift during our dark moments, which is exactly a small thing we can do, and from that small change, we can alter our lives from darkness to light. If I say to you, “Oh my, look at the beautiful sunrise.”, but you say back, “I can’t, for there is a giant boulder in front of me.” - all you must do, is move. In a tiny few steps, what once was a mountain, now is a spectacularly glorious sunrise.
Small Moves.
In our self-speak, we change for good or bad, our perception. Instead of comparing ourselves to others, we simply change our dialogue. Instead of saying, I need to heal, know that, “I Am Healed.” Though we may not immediately realize that we are healed, in God’s realm, we already are. Time, too, is experienced by perspective. It is us who snuggle in our self pity, in our woe is me. It is us who paint ourselves and our lives dismal and dark, instead of using our paints to color us beautiful. When an artist paints, the painting already exists. The artist merely feels, or knows that painting or the song; from which, they bring it to this physical universe for all others to experience.
Stop comparing yourself to others. Stop! There is no race, no journey of ours that is the journey of others. Yes, you will see others during their adventure to them, and you will cross paths, but your journey is yours, not theirs. While they explore the paths and rabbit holes along their way, you live yours. Their lessons are theirs, not yours. While they may appear to be ahead, they are simply learning what they must learn, as are you.
We are one soul divided, like facets of a diamond, but we are of one diamond. No matter where we are on our journey, we bring our lessons to all other facets, and in that, we are one soul. Tell me, if I have not seen life from your perspective, how am I ahead of you? I am not, nor can I be, because, I have not experienced you, nor your journey. It is you, who are ahead in your journey to you, not I. It is you who brings you to me and to God. There is no ahead or behind, just our own unique experiences. Until, and unless we change places; you become me, and I become you, we, and our essence, are preciously unique facets of the whole. When you and I bring all our experiences to the rest of us, to God, only then, do we each and all become more than just facets of the diamond. From our merging of experiences, we become the entirety of the diamond.
It is only from our dialogue, from fear, that we convince ourselves of being ahead or behind. Know this, a narcissist, in their view of themselves and others, believe they are ahead in life. They are not. In fact, they are so far behind, that like in a race, they appear to be ahead. Appearances can be deceiving. We must not deceive ourselves, for it is in the seeing of us without the dressings of deceit that we will be and live our true selves.
Stop looking at me, or anyone else as being ahead of you, before you, or better or worse than you. I am not, nor is anyone else. Your race to you is only a race with you, not with me.
Maybe, I just got started in my race and am still full of energy. Maybe you are the tortoise, and I, the hare. Maybe, you are the slow constant rain that turns deserts into grand canyons. Maybe, I am just a flash flood, dramatic and soaking, but over before I began. Maybe, you should mind your business, as mine is not yours, nor is yours, mine. Look at you, not me, as your steps lead you to you, and mine, they lead me to me.
Change your dialogue, and you will change how you see you. If you keep painting yourself behind or less than others, or you stay comfortable in your self-loathing or pity, then that is where your race to you, stops. You must be the one who changes you, drop by drop, step by step. God gave you choice, so choose to paint you the way God sees you, precious and perfect; not how the world has told you, you are.
Starting now, paint yourself as:
“I Am, Healed.”
“I Am, Love.”
“I Am, Happy.”
“I Am, Strong.”
“I Am, Beautiful.”
“I Am, First.”
“I Am, Awesome.”
“I Am, Anything and Everything.”
“I Am”
The physical universe may have to catch up, as we have painted it dark. Our darkness now, took time to paint. So, starting now, paint yourself beautiful and light, for you are.
Don’t want to be co-dependent, then stop the co-dependency of YOUR own self-speak. Be the creator of your life, the independent soul who brings you to you, and all of us together, which completes us and God. You were given the gift of choice so you would choose your steps to you. You can choose to complicate your journey and walk a self-burdened path, or you can choose to lighten your load, simply by changing your dialogue.
Today, while you are out and about, on social media, or anywhere, love the things you see, instead of just like them. This little change in your speak, changes you. Make this little change a habit, and it will become you. Be the change, you want. I can’t be your change, only you can. You, are who you allow yourself to be. Decide to be beautiful, vast and precious, and you are. What others do or think, that, is their portrait, not yours.
Be your painter, and paint your Mona Lisa.
Now repeat after me,
I Am Beautiful, I Am.
I Am Healed, I Am.
I Am Love, I Am.
I Am, All That I Am.
I Am
(Just a hint: When you stop at, “I Am”, without anything else, you are infinite.)

It is you, who, here and now, decide your value. Once upon a time, God did something beyond everything. You, are the beyond everything. However, if you see yourself as anything those of the world have told you, you have blinded yourself with their blindness, and the lies you now believe and tell yourself. All of the world's sympathy, will not make you better. Only when you cast of that crutch, and the crutch of victimhood, will you be pleased with God's most precious thought.
Yes, You Are God's Most Beautiful Imagination. Be not the image of the world, but God's.
