Mercy Me
A beautiful message from Oct 11 2018, just for you. Have mercy on yourself. Click the image, & be kind to yourself. "This world teaches us to carry the baggage of guilt, or plant that guilt in others.
Forgiveness or mercy is simple, but hard when we believe we or they are less than beautiful, ever-expanding souls. This world teaches us to carry the baggage of guilt, or plant that guilt in others. So, we don't forgive ourselves, and we end up pushing others down in our lie that we are okay.
We first must know the difference between ourselves and ego. You and I are an energy that some call soul or spirit. Ego is a protective device, a childhood blanket that we think protects us. Ego says we are right, encourages us to fight for misguided beliefs, and must have the last word. Ego compensates for our lack of self love, not self-indulgent love, but love of who we really are, which is spirit. We need nothing more than to just be, not more, not less than the beautifully pure soul we are. Soul has nothing to prove, but ego says all sorts of things and is rarely quiet. Ego, in fact, is easy to see when we start looking, and once we start noticing how ego acts and affects our life, we can start to wean ourselves from our addiction of it. Ego, in essence, is our fear and rejection of self-responsibility, and a denial of our infinite preciousness.
In these two things, understanding that we are soul and not our physical bodies, and in our seeing and accepting the difference between ego and self, we begin a beautiful journey to all that we are.
When we know we are soul, we start to realize that there is no right or wrong. Like time, right and wrong are concepts here in this physical realm that feed ego's and other's control over us. You see, soul is a living part of God, and in that communion with God, we grow and accept our divinity.
Being Godly takes making mistakes, but really, is there such a thing as a mistake, if every part of our journey leads us to God? Only when we learn that a stove is hot, do we not touch a hot stove. Was that a mistake, or part of our learning process? When we become more wise and more in touch with ourselves and God, then there was no mistake, as it was a step towards our communion and oneness with God. That, is never a mistake. Now some will want to argue this point, but really, this is a matter of perspective, just as two in a debate see themselves as right, and the other as wrong. How can two, or one, both be right and both be wrong? Perspective.
For any of us to carry guilt, we are to learn of the reasons why guilt hinders us, why we cling to it, and this is best learned through experience. In your experience right now, you asked why can I not forgive myself. Well, this question is the moment you have been waiting for, for you are at a fork in the road. One way feeds the dark wolf inside, the wolf that contains guilt and will not forgive. In the other direction, you decide that you have had enough of this pain, you take responsibility for your actions, small or large. You do this, not because you did wrong, but because you see you as the most beautiful facet of God ever created, and in that, you know every step you take from this point on, is towards you and God.
It is a matter of when you or I decide we have had enough pain, that we take the correct path for the rest of our journey. If we don't hurt enough, the lesson we are ignoring will repeat itself until we do hurt enough to change. This is our choice. We can be as stubborn as ego dictates, or as pure and simple as soul itself. The difficulty, or the ease of our journey is determined by us. Either way, we will learn our lessons, and we will decide one day that we have had enough, and we will choose a different livingness.
Your question about forgiveness, says everything about you at this moment. In your question, is your answer. It says, you are ready for your next step, a step away from your dependence of ego and this physical world, and towards you and God. In your life, and in those you touch, be the change you want. This moment, is your moment to choose the longer path or the shorter path. Again, both will bring you to you and God. ~ I Am - Wisdom (Mark)
Lastly, if no one in your life said they love you today, I love you. You are the most beautiful facet of God ever imagined, and through you, we see God from only a perspective you have. Thank you for sharing you and God with us.
Now, make one more moment for the following video & love yourself. ♥
