I read someone’s statement that Christ has not left us. The problem, is not that Christ nor the Kingdom of God left us, but that we left it. We, through our actions, have proven that a spiritual kingdom, the realm of us, has less value than does everything else in our lives. The Kingdom of God is simply a realm of existence. It isn’t glittery, it doesn’t fly down the highway, it can’t be counted within a bank vault, it doesn’t float our ego, and it isn’t sexy. It exists without all those physical ties because it simply is. Store-bought trinkets do little to bring us back to what we have forsaken, as we cannot live Christ or God through the purchase of Christ or God. To do so only further solidifies that worldly store-bought connection, not our being one with all beings and our Creator. Only when we are spiritual can we be spiritual. Only when we are Godly, are we, God. Only when we let go of physical deceptions will we be on the path to God.

I have added a link to a video that you should watch. While this video is not about faith, the message in this TEDx talk goes much deeper than what we purchase and the lies we read on the internet and elsewhere. From these kinds of deceptions, an entire faith, our beingness is subverted. From the lies we believe, comes a tainted faith from which we live.
As you listen to this talk, take the speaker’s examples further. Expand them past the deceptions stated on the internet, past the lies told by pharmaceutical companies and politicians to how the entire essence of us has been altered and perverted. Though this video says nothing about any faith, our innate essence or God, the tools mentioned are as old as evil itself, which has kept the exploration and understanding of the spiritual realm, of God from millions of people.
In distractions and untruths, we are distracted and untrue.
There are old tools in use today. Honed from an eternity of use, these tools work miracles, but not necessarily good miracles. We tend to believe that miracles are only good, but miraculous things happen on both sides of the aisle. While I would like to be cheery and all smiles, the reality is, most of what we now take as fact, has been crafted into something “miraculous” that we believe is the truth. These deceptive tools at work are not tools of good, but of evil. To highlight this point, look at Christmas. This holiday has been more perverted by the pagan philosophy that Christians once tried to win over, than the other way around. I am not bashing those of true faith, but honestly, they are rare. Christians believe their faith to be accurate and pure, but many have been misled by the evil of the lies slithered in under our noses.
When aiming one’s arrow or firearm, one must be precise, or one will find themselves to be far off their mark as the distance grows. Small lies, not far from the truth, will accomplish the same goal. Those who do not ask or challenge, but who naively follow those lies before them will end up far from where they believe they are. Over time and repetitive deceptions, we end up not even knowing we are lost. We will feverishly argue our ill-conceived beliefs, toss aside friendships, disparage others, and even fight and kill for the lies we believe.
Many believe that putting up Christmas decorations shows they are true believers of Christ and the Kingdom of God. While those who sell these decorations want you to believe this, our connection with the realm of the Kingdom of God is straightforward. Our relationship requires no lights, no Santa’s, no gluttony of presents, nor decorated trees. It requires only us, our willingness to challenge our current beliefs, and fervently seek the truth that is the realm and Kingdom of God. Being of Christian or any faith is much more than symbolic gestures, which many have forgotten. Being of faith requires daily effort to thwart our failings, which can be difficult work as we all fail, we all sin. In our failures, we gain ground when we allow ourselves the growth that follows. While it is good to rejoice in our growth, symbolic gesturing without living Godly means nothing. Seeking God was never about symbolism, but about working towards being one with the realm of God. Being Godly isn’t about showing your Godliness, quoting scripture, nor buying trinkets, as being Godly will be evident on its own. Our growth won’t mean we are perfect, but it will emanate from our everyday actions and from the fruits of striving to be one with all things, God.
Though this task is simple, it takes our allowance and a daily persistence, as evil is relentless and is interlaced within all that is physical. What better place for evil to reside than within the house and teachers of God. Know that the Kingdom of God is within you and all around you. The kingdom is uncomplicated and simple, as complication distracts and dilutes truth through its deceptive additions or subtractions. When we add to or subtract from truth, we deceive. Truth needs no additions or subtractions. It stands alone through its simplistic purity. There are, however, times, places, and audiences for truth. Not all are ready to jump into the deep end, and not all can be spoken with like those close to you. Before we talk, we must endeavor to read others by listening to them when time and situations permit. Truth though, is better conveyed than left unsaid.
This day, allow truth to guide you. Listen not to those who solicit your earnings or bleat like sheep, but to the whispers of truth from the Kingdom of God.
Now, watch the following video, mentioned above. From the TedX talk, you will better understand that old tools are being used to steal us away from us and God. And, it may seem very familiar regarding life today.

So, You Call Yourself a Christian
So, You Call Yourself a Christian
So, you call yourself a Christian? You read the bible, you put up Christmas lights, you pray, and you tell people that you’re Christian. But, are you answering prayers? Are you carrying the cross for others? Are you preventing the slaughter of millions of innocent unborn babies, or the genocide of billions of animals for the sake of pleasured taste-buds…
