Pretense of You:
So, You Thought:
You thought life began when you were born.
You thought life was defined by the vessel you cherish.
You thought those before you, brought life.
You thought 9 to 5, or weekends was life. You thought wealth proved life.
You thought your car, your music, your body, your perceived castles of control verified that you exist, that you were alive and worthy.
Oh how you have been deceived, yet you gather more to be more. You thought that next title, that next drachma, those bars of gold, that trophy beside you made you something grand. That mountain of gold and power, oh, and the pretense of control; oh, now I am the light of lights, a king beyond mere paupers.
My soul, you were sold lies that you bought, that you cherish, that you hoard, and expound to the world. I am worthy - at least in your thoughts of deluded and pretended grandeur.
No, Now, you are valued by a world of worthlessness; lost, in their delusions and pretenses. Such company you keep.
No title, no game, no wealth or control, nothing that you clutch, no physicalness, not one thing, or thought of you, adds to you. All these things, and more, have done nothing but shrink the wonderous you.
Infinity, only degrades into the finite piled upon itself, and you, you disappear within the lies you tell yourself. The world, travels onward as you die in the lie.
Now, as you know of your emptiness, as you are void, can the infinintcy of you be born from the greyed planes, and fires of awakening. Confront all that you were, all that you did, for only in that death of ego, can you return to the infinite essence of you.
Or, go back to sleep in the pretense of you. I Am - Wisdom.
