Truly, over-thinking is the death of now. It creates fear, anger, dissolution, elevates, relegates, confuses and kills we wondrous souls. As I was going through my fires of me, walking in the park, stories would creep into that precious now, and I was whisked away to dark places. When I found myself there, I simply asked, "Where am I?, and, What am I doing?” Then, I was back, merely and pleasurably walking in the park with my beautiful 4-legged, wet-nosed, waggle-butted companions. I was back to me, back to now. What I came to realize, is that I, me, the energetic soul was witnessing thought. Again, I was blessed in the reiteration of the difference between me, and my vessel and the mind. It is upon our observing ourselves that we come to know we are beyond physical manifestations, beyond physicality itself.
There is absolute power in our recognition, our discerning when stories, thoughts or "demons" come to visit. When I look back on my life, especially when I looked beyond everything I had lived, it was a long row to hoe back to the essence of me. I know you may know this, but taking the “red pill” is most certainly not easy. However, as you too will know, it is what we must do in our arriving at our essence.
