The Life of Ego - The Death of Soul
When one expects their desires to be fulfilled, the reality of delusion directs life. As I watch our world, you and me, I see our need to have our desires fulfilled, so, we force matters. I too know the sorrows felt when what we want bears no fruit. In our life here, of this world, we rarely see beyond what comforts us, and we do many things to be comforted. We lie to others, but first we lie to ourselves. When we lie to ourselves, we are bound by that lie to fulfill the lie by living the lie.
What is not seen, felt or lived is our part of the all, or we would not need to make what we want into a life of its own. Fearful are those who will not dine with divinity, and lost they are. Because our desires are not met does not mean we are not loved or that we are not of God. It means that there is a plan for us all, not just for you or me.
I am saddened when I notice myself walking in my shoes and not God’s. It is then when I acknowledge my fall and stand up. It is then when I find my bearings and God, and step back into those precious sandals. It is not that any of us are worthy of such attire, but we are to walk in them if we are to arrive home. “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.” John 14. It is okay to fall, but we mustn’t wallow in our mire, for in our wallowing, we fulfill a delusion for self-judgment and condemnation. Only when we walk as Christ walked, are we saved.
We cannot live two lives, nor serve two masters; one of self-servitude, or our livingness of God. Those of this world serve themselves and their desires, not God. We cannot have it both ways. In our choice, we either walk into the eternal life or eternal death of us, the soul. We must choose wisely, for eternity awaits our choice. ~ I Am - Wisdom
