The Only Righteous War
"When no one dances, there is no dance, there is no war." (Click on image to read the article and watch the great video.)
As I write this, the non-ending cycle of warring men continues. Though some are protesting, they protest not having the fruits of life, not war itself. Likening our existence to a video game, there seems to be many non-playing-characters, simply following their programming. Are you speaking out against World War III, or are you just preparing for it? Are you preparing for life or merely readying to survive?
Question; who fights wars? Are the fomenters of war fighting these wars? Are the leaders of countries fighting their wars? No, we the people, we pawns and puppets are who butchers and damns who someone says to butcher and damn. And, then again, we are the butchered and damned, and for what?
We buy cereal, cars, phones or whatever because they are marketed to us, so, like good little marionettes, we purchase what we are led to buy. War is no different - we kill who we are told we should kill; be it them, they or those, or all the non-humanizing names used to make us believe the “enemy” is less than human, less than us.
There is on old saying, “Those who do not learn history are doomed to repeat it.” * Obviously, this is the case, but it’s not general history that I am talking about, for history is written by victors and those with agendas. More accurately, it is personal history I'm referring to, what we individually experience. How many times have children been told, “Don’t touch that. It’s hot.”? This in itself should indicate that we don’t learn from others’ history, just our own experiences. Hot is not real until one experiences the consequence of touching hot. The same goes for war; or by now, we would not be warring. It too was said, “Civilization is not inherited; it has to be learned and earned by each generation anew…” ** With this next quote, I will move on. “Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction.”***
Our history as a people, forgotten, stolen or contrived, lives only in our repetition. At nearly 70 years of living here in our sanitarium on earth, I am tired of repeating insanity. It is not the people of America, China, Russia, or any other country, nor the peoples of various religions that desire and foment war, but those who we believe care for us, who lead us and those who profit from war and our dying from it. We average souls who spend our days toiling, we just want to live in joy and peace.
There is only one righteous war, and that is for us, we individual souls. The war we should and must fight, is the war of self, against self and for self. When we spend our days openly observing and challenging ourselves and our beliefs, we win, for no longer are we mere toys for puppet-masters. When is the last time you stopped and challenged why you think, do or act the way you do? When was the last time you even saw you without all the dictated or suggested concoctions that was fed to you, and that you accept as gospel? When is the last time you saw you the soul, as you the soul, as God’s precious image?
There is a way to win war, even before war begins. Don’t comply. Don’t war. When no one dances, there is no dance, there is no war. Stop listening to those who never fight, but who profit from our division, our fighting and our dying. Just stop, and the wars are over before they begin. ~ I Am - Wisdom
Before I let you go, I give you this, the following reasons not to war.
