A question was posed, "Is it a sin...?"
The answer is simple. Yes, it is a sin to do anything if it prevents one from living God, no matter our belief. Whether we know the lie we are living or not, if it prevents us from living the truth, then we are sinful. These days, many do things society has deemed okay or that we should be doing. I can give many examples of what we think is good or acceptable, which we live and justify each day. It is time we separate all the man-made lies from God's only truth. One way to do this is, ask when did I start doing what I'm doing and what began my living the lie.
Our lives are based on humanly crafted distortions and marketing that we accept and live. From fancy packaging to advertising campaigns to hidden agendas and coercions, we live lies. And, now, we justify in the stead of the crafters of those lies. One example is taxes. We complain about our taxes but cheer when someone is "caught" not paying what we do not want to pay. As a result, we pay taxes that fund abortion, perpetuate never-ending wars, that pay for agendas that enslave us. So, we are part of the lie - we are the lie, and in that, we sin.
If what we do is based, known or not, on deception, then we are sinning. We are the crafters of our not-living Godly. We are responsible for those selling lies, for we pay them in our living their lies. When we stop living all that is not of God, life begins in our truth. Therefore, our salvation is from our choices. Learn to discern by challenging what we have been told to live, what we live compared to the freedom within our creator. The lies, our lies are more profound than we want to admit, but it is in our admission that we start to release ourselves from our bindings. Or, we elect to be our lies, and we die spiritually from our stubborn self-righteousness. We either Be the lies, or we Be virtuous and innocent. There is no middle ground.
It is hoped that we each acknowledge and let go of all that binds us, that we live anew in the truth and wonder of the precious images we are. So, which throne will you choose? ~ I Am - Wisdom (Mark)

Truth of You Shall Set You Free
Yes, the truth shall set you free, just not any truth, but the reality of you. I cannot tell you that truth, not because I do not know it, but because to be free, you must allow the truth of you to be. As there are two sides of a coin, there are both the light and the dark side of you. Until you allow yourself to acknowledge and be responsible for your ugliness and your beauty, you will not be free. You are in a prison, and you are in a school. You choose how you see your existence by what you are willing to confront or what you will not. Though blaming another or others appears to make you feel better about yourself, casting blame only further imprisons you. There is a prison, and you are your jailor. Not only does perspective determine your beingness, so does your willingness to accept who you have been, what you are capable of, and allowing yourself to be responsible for all that you are. I cannot tell your story, for if I did, you would not be accountable. Only we can set ourselves free, and once again, just be. ~ I Am - Wisdom Mark
