Sadly, life here, in this realm, this dimension, or whatever humanly crafted words we want to use, is created either as a prison, or the most brilliant curriculum ever devised. I agree with you 100%. I lived the life you described for nearly 60 years. It was not until I had an event in my life, my satori, my awakening, my I Am moment, when I realized many things. You see, we live from what we agree with, for whatever reason, be it conformity, ego, fear, or comfort. It wasn't until my event, that I looked beyond the vail. That vail, your vail, or mine, or theirs, is unique and individual to each of us. Now, most live life as little more than *NPCs. That zombified life, for the most part, will remain until something forces them to hurt enough, to change their livingness, if they ever will. And, their first glimpse, like yours and mine, is forever ongoing. What you are seeing is but the tip of the iceberg. You will come to see, acknowledge, be responsible for, and live more that you have ever dreamed. When you come to realize that the prison you are in, is your school, and your school is your prison, and that it is your choice of perspectives that craft and manifest your perceptions, your existence, then you will have taken a giant leap into undefined freedom.
Rather it be our prison or our school, it is tough, for we are living for the willingness to see, acknowledge, let go, and be everything.
