Caught my attention with "Our justification of everything, or our rebellion of against everything ensnares us in an inescapable prison of SELF-MADE MIRRORS in which we blame and judge others. We are trapped in this HOUSE OF REFLECTIONS, not by prison guards, but by our own choices..." I absolutely loved this piece! Thank you.

Thank you for your kind words, Atala Galaz. I am glad it resonated with you. In my having to go back to work, into a lifestyle that I have been blessed not to have lived for the last 20 years or so, I too am blessed in the chance to observe others immersed in worldly matters. Though I am not conveying as much as I did during my respite, I am overjoyed that I am personally planting seeds in individual lives.

I noticed that many who just speak their spiritual truths without profit, generally have smaller followings, at least in the world of written words. Most want 30 second memes with little substance, that just help them feel better in the moment. While this is a good thing, substance, also is required. The face to face time, though short, I am experiencing during my work has been fruitful, both for those I plant within, and in granting me with new perspectives to share. What I am seeing is that many need personal connections, not just wisdoms shared via our pens and computers. I realized several years ago during a cross country trip that what people would accept, though short, was someone seeing and acknowledging them, and of course, telling them that they are loved. More than not, people don't hear that they are loved without expectation. It seems that most are not told they are loved, or they are not told with substance and conviction they are loved.

Though I am but a mere clerk, older and slower than the younger people I work with, my words to the customers create a since that someone who takes a moment, speaks what is lacking. Not being a fan of the system, I, like you and others are needed in the system, if just to remind others they exist and are loved.

Again, thank you for taking the time to convey your kindness. ~ Mark
