I was asked, “What is, I AM?” “What am I talking about?”
Here is what I can tell you. The simple answer is, it is a state of being, a condition of an individual, which can be understood and known, but until one’s arrival, not experienced.
“I Am”, is the departure from one, but at the same time it is the arrival at one. Yes, there is a duality in being, I Am. In fact, there are many aspects, many facets in being in the state of, I Am. I Am, is being the all, not just mantra speaking that I Am, but simply being, I Am. It is an arrival, an acknowledgement and an acceptance that one is all things at once.
You are right in thinking, it is a far reach from what we live everyday. It is though, possible to obtain by any and all souls. This state is not just for the Omnipotent, by deities alone, but by you and me. Some will say this is blasphemy, but that is said in fear and from somewhere we were told we are to be, but nothing more.
So, is the state of “I Am” the end of our journey? The answer is, yes and no. It is not just the end, but the beginning as well. I Am, is the point of accepting that one is all things and is at peace being all things. From here, everything is possible and this is where our journey begins. Reaching the point of departure is what being in the state of “I Am”, means. It signals that one has their bags packed and is ready to board the rest of their existence. It is when the adventure begins, for when one is all things, all things are not only possible, but will happen and have happened. It is an existence of answers without questions. It is a point of not having to know one knows, but with each step, what is to be known, is simply known. It is a place when we see peace in fear, when the dark is also our light. It is a beginning of living in the state of being, “I Am” and that is where everything ends and begins.
I know that reaching “I Am” is a journey in itself, but it is the journey of self, to self so that we can exist beyond just our self and within all others and within all other states of being. It is our arrival at our departure point to everything else. It is when we exist as one within the duality.
Simply put, it is when we are happy in our sadness and visa versa. It is when we know that in our darkest moments, our light exists. It is arriving at a point when we do not resist, but embrace, because we not only know that in the bad there is good, we are living both simultaneously. Yes, there will be fear, but there is also peace. This state is known, for one allows the fear to exist without resisting it and in that, peace exists. “I Am” is not the absence of fear or anger, but the allowing it to exist while also living at the same moment, with peace and joy. When we resist, we become stuck and we live within what we are resisting and we become that which we resist. Living within “I Am”, is the inhale and exhale of all things without holding on to either.
I know that most will not understand at this moment what “I Am” really is, but you will when you depart from old incorrect teachings and all the lures that attract you away from yourself. You will know “I Am”, when you simply are. This takes a dedication to living this long before you simply live it. It takes putting aside the confines of living within the physical and looking beyond, for one must see not just the duality within one plane of existence, but the duality within the emergence of every newly recognized plane and the point where these planes come together.
This is where our adventure ends and is where it begins.
Will everything be perfect when one reaches the state of being, I Am? While we will have arrived at the “I Am” state of being, we will be living all things, both the dark and the light, the difficult and the easy. This is when we live the adventure we have prepared for, so it will both be difficult and easy. It will be in our being all things that the difficult will be easy and the easy will be difficult. What will determine our experience is our choice of perspectives, and what better adventure can one ask for, but choice.
This is where our adventure ends and is where it begins. ~ I Am - Wisdom
