We are both better for the experience. It is in our allowing ourselves to see both sides, the light and the dark that we become the whole of the matter. Yes, it was and is still difficult to feel these suffering souls. I am finding though, that when I pray to God to ease their suffering, that mine too is eased. Maybe that was God's message to me all along. So far, it has been working and I suffer less. I hope those I feel and who I ask God to help, feel better also.
